Cover.XCMD in action

Cover.XCMD is a MacOS version of the Cover UCD Macromedia includes with recent versions of Authorware. Using Cover.XCMD allows you to author cross-platform pieces using the Cover() function without needing to make any special provisions for Mac compatibility.

This version of Cover.XCMD is released under the LGPL. See The GNU Project for more information.

How to use:
Place the file "Cover.XCMD" in the same folder as your AW file. Call Cover() to black out the background. The background will reappear when your program exits.

Other setups have not been verified but have not been ruled out, either.

UPDATE: This version may not be fully compatible with MacOS 9.0.4 in 16-bit color. Some visual glitches may result.
